Functional yarn refers to yarn that possesses special physical or chemical properties not found in traditional textiles through the addition of high-tech materials, special fiber blending, or finishing techniques. This gives the final fabric added value such as moisture wicking, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and UV protection. It is widely used in sportswear and other fields.

WICKING & QUICK-DRY
This sweat-wicking and quick-drying fabric utilizes special irregularly shaped fibers with micro-grooves on their surface. These fibers quickly absorb moisture and guide it to the outer layer of the fabric, where it spreads rapidly and evenly throughout the fabric structure. This allows sweat to dry and evaporate more easily, achieving a moisture-wicking and quick-drying effect.
UV-PROTECTION
The fibers of the UV-resistant fabric are made by adding special ultra-fine ceramic powder during the spinning process of the raw yarn, which gives the fibers excellent UV resistance and can block harmful UV rays such as UVA/UVB from the sun, providing the best protection.
ANTIBACTERIAL
Antibacterial agents can be melt-mixed into the polymer during ptocessing, providing an antibacterial treatment to control bacteria or fungi
COOLING SENSATION
Cooling fabrics are made from fibers that are nano-milled from special low-temperature minerals found in nature and then incorporated into the fibers during the spinning process. Because the fibers contain special low-temperature minerals, they can reduce the rate at which the fabric heats up when exposed to heat and can quickly dissipate heat and cool down after being removed from the heat source.
