LINING FABRIC
Lining fabric is the material used inside clothing, handbags, or other textiles. Its main functions are to cover the internal structure, increase comfort, protect the outer fabric, and enhance the overall texture and warmth of the product.
Main Functions
Improved Wearing Comfort:
Makes the inner layer of clothing smoother, reducing friction with the skin or inner garments, making it easier to put on and take off.
Protection and Shaping:
Protects the outer fabric from abrasion while helping the garment maintain its shape and structure, such as in suits or coats.
Aesthetics and Coverage:
Covers seams, stuffing, or other manufacturing details inside the garment, making the finished product look more refined.
Increased Warmth:
Using thicker linings in autumn and winter clothing (such as coats and jackets) can increase warmth.
Anti-static:
Many linings have anti-static properties, preventing clothing from sticking to the skin.
